Bill has previously served as Vice Commodore Socials and Vice Commodore Cruising. He and his wife Sue hail from Greenville, NC and have been NSA members since 2005. They sail Shadow, a 31 foot Catalina. New to cruising, they state the experience and camaraderie with other sailors has and continues to be a rewarding experience. Other interests include photography and shag dancing.

Chuck and his wife Sharon live in Cary, NC. They have a Catalina 36 Mark II, Cool Change, which they keep at Sailcraft Marina.

John was first introduced to sailing at the age of nine in an Optimist Pram and he has been sailing every since. He has owned or co-owned six boats and has done extensive lake sailing, coastal cruising as well as cruising in the Caribbean both as a skipper on bareboat charters to cruising for a year on his own boat. John enjoys taking friends and family on cruises around North Carolina’s beautiful coastal waters. He currently sails his Island Packet 350 “Chardonnay” out of Pecan Grove Marina.

_ Rose and her partner, Jim Woodward, have been sailing together for nine
years. Even though their permanent home is near Raleigh, they spend
most weekends in and around Oriental. Their Bavaria 38, Tondalaya, is
kept at Oriental Harbor and Marina. Both are anticipating a great year
of sailing and socials with the 2012 NSA.

Rusty comes aboard as director to replace Ros Cheetham who became one of our Vice Commodores of Cruising. Rusty and his wife Cindy keep their Catalina 320, Shrimp and Grits, at Sailcraft Marina.

Tim and his wife Carol currently live in Goldsboro. They sail a Hunter 410, Geisha, which they keep at Pecan Grove Marina.
Scott Westwood, Director (2013)

Scott Westwood and his wife Sandy Emerson live in Apex NC. They met on a sailing weekend when she was the only one that would go out on his Hobie 16 at night. The next day she helped clean the boat. They eventually got married at sunset on a sailboat off of Key West. Scott and Sandy keep their Catalina 25 "Square Knot" in Vandemere, NC. Sandra has 2 married daughters.

_Buster Kenny is a Past Commodore and has also served as Vice Commodore
of Socials. He and his wife Kathy have been sailing in different locales
for over 20 years, including the last eight here in coastal North
Carolina. They truly enjoy the friendships that they've developed with
other members while sailing their Catalina 30, Seabreeze, and look
forward to spending time with them in 2012! Currently residing in Cary, NC. they have four adult children and two Yorkies, Skipper and Sailor.

Hank and his wife Christa currently live in Minnesott, NC. They sail a beautiful Hunter DS 41, Christiana III, which they keep at River Dunes Marina. They can frequently be seen with their adorable Shih-Tzus, Max and Simba.

This is Sam's third year on the NSA bridge as webmaster and, second year as Neuse Juice editor. She and her partner Paul McDonald own a Newport 30 which they currently keep at Sea Harbour Yacht Club. Sam is looking forward to attending as many cruises as possible this upcoming year, but especially the annual trip to Ocracoke!
