The Neuse Sailing Association is one of the oldest active sailing clubs in the state of North Carolina. Chartered in 1973 as a non-profit corporation, the club was organized for the purposes of:

  • promoting activities of a social and recreational nature;
  • developing the art and science of sailing, the acquisition of knowledge of the theory and practice of seamanship, navigation, and allied subjects;
  • promoting and encouraging participation in races, regattas, and cruises.
The club sponsors and promotes cruising activities and social events in Oriental, New Bern, Beaufort, Morehead City, Ocracoke, Cape Lookout and areas throughout the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound.
