Welcome to the Neuse Sailing Association
41 Years of Sailing (1973 - 2014)

The Neuse Sailing Association (NSA) is the “friendliest club on the North Carolina coast,” offering a busy schedule of activities that appeal to all boating interests and age groups. Founded in 1973, the NSA is one of the oldest active sailing clubs in North Carolina. We schedule numerous social events each year and offer a variety of cruising and educational opportunities. We have built a tradition of enjoying every aspect of being on the water along the North Carolina coast.

We are a fun-loving group and we strive to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone, regardless of sailing skill or experience. Based in Oriental, the club sponsors cruises to New Bern, Belhaven, Beaufort, Morehead City, Ocracoke, Cape Lookout and areas throughout the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound. In the off-season, we offer educational seminars on a variety of topics. To learn more about the NSA, go to About. And scroll down this page for Club & Community News and Coming Events. We look forward to seeing you on the water!

Check out the Photo Gallery to see a lot of sailors in suits and gowns, and look for more coverage in the December Neuse Juice.
